This scene starts in front of King Edwards palace where Malcom and Macduff speak. Malcom doesn’t trust everything that Macduff is saying as he has left him family in Scotland and may be working for Macbeth. Malcom wanted to know if Macduff was worthy so he kept going on about his own vices. He admits that he shouldn’t be king because he is lustful, greedy, and violent witch are not the qualities that a fit king needs. But then Macduff cries “O Scotland, O Scotland!” showing Malcom that he cares about the country not the king or himself.
