Scene analisis

Act 1 scene 1

Quote: “Fair is foul, and foul is fair” Is a quote in Macbeth in Act 1 scene 1 quoted by all three witches at the end of the scene. I think that it means that appearances could be a trick. Which means that what does seem “fair” is actually sometimes “foul”.

Predictions about the play: I think that during the play the witches aren’t the main role but are always there in the background and some of their quotes might keep popping up throughout the play.

Act 1 scene 3

Prediction: I that later on during the play that Macbeth is going to be forced to act on becoming king. As in act 1 scene 3, Macbeth is scared and said that what happens will happen and that he does not want to act on becoming king. This is because he would have to kill the king who he is very loyal to. In my opinion he will kill the king himself because he is very capable of it as we saw in act 1 scene two.
